Individual Attention. Collective Approach.
Our Firm’s History
Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP was originally founded in 1985 by Michael Posner and Howard Z. Rosen. Both having established reputations as prominent labor lawyers while working at Geffner & Satzman during the 1970s, the two set out to establish what would be known for three decades as Posner & Rosen LLP.
Originally representing unions in labor-management relations, Posner and Rosen expanded their practice to include the representation of non-union workers in both the public and private sector during the early 1990s. As a result, the firm became one of the first to actively practice traditional labor law, employment litigation and public sector representation.
In the 2000s, the firm expanded with the addition of two attorneys — Jason C. Marsili and Brianna M. Primozic. Under the guidance and tutelage of Poser and Rosen, the four-member firm continued to expand its practice across the entire spectrum of labor and employment law, including class and collective actions on behalf of thousands of workers.
When Michel Posner retired from the firm in 2015, the remaining members of the firm pledged to maintain the standards of quality and excellence established over the previous 30 years, while continuing to evolve to meet the needs of workers today. With the subsequent addition of Amanda Pitrof in 2016, the firm continues today as Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP, and remains true to its founding objective to support and defend the rights of all workers.

Every member of Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP maintains a personal and ideological commitment to protecting the rights of workers.
We understand that problems at work have rippling effects over all facets of one’s life. Every individual situation is different. The best resolution of a legal matter often depends on one’s personal and professional goals as well as his or her financial security and family situation. What may be a good solution for one client may not be beneficial to another. We understand this and work with each client to develop a strategy tailored specifically to meet each client’s needs.
We believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. No one attorney is the best at everything. Some excel at research and writing. Others thrive on advocacy and oration, while others enjoy counseling and resolution. We understand this and work collectively as a team, drawing upon each’s knowledge and skill set to achieve the best-possible outcome for our clients.
We never rest on our laurels. Times change and the law evolves. What may have been an effective legal theory or litigation strategy last year may no longer work today. We understand this and continue to advance our knowledge of the law by writing and lecturing on labor and employment law developments across the country.
If you seek pompous lawyers who are stuffy and incapable of smiling, you better look elsewhere. Rosen Marsili Rapp LLP is a friendly, familial environment, and its members are jovial, thoughtful and understanding. We take our work seriously, but we do not take ourselves too seriously.
